You guys think a cobalt with 95k is worth buying for 1500$ the owner says the break lines were just replaced, but there's a loud "crunch" coming from the rear end. From a glance all I noticed was worn out struts.
I'm decent with a wrench, and I know these are crap cars, it would be a 2nd vehicle for me. I haven't road tested it yet.
I guess I should add I have a good scan tool to check out everything Scotty recommends as well.

definitely take it for a road test, and find out what the crunch is before you give it a moment's more thought.
Replaced brake lines = lots of rust, so I would definitely sweep my peepers underneath the thing, and poke around in the suspension. My gut says it's going to be in bad shape.
