Hey Scotty, I bought a 05 Cadillac CTS automatic 3.6l last month for $1500. Is has an oil leak by the oil filter and the rear differential makes a thud sound when I put it in drive. Seller told me it was just the differential washer but my mechanic says it will be expensive to fix. Is it worth it? Car has 130,000 miles

I would recheck with your mechanic. You said it makes a thud sound when it goes into drive- your transmission may be going out but make sure it's not that.
