Hey Scotty , I have a 2005 Nissan murano automatic transmission, with over 160k miles in good condition cosmetic wise, I was having a ignition coil problem that then turned into an oil leak were the valve cover had to be replaced, well after a new valve cover , new spark plugs , and new ignition coils my vehicle still has no power when accelerating, especially going over raised roads. Now the mechanic is telling me I might need a new CAT , what do you think?

It's possible, but of course there are other possibilities from clogged fuel filter to bad compression. The catalytic converter can be tested for excess back pressure and I would have that done before approving its replacement.
