A/C Cold When Driving But Warmer Air At Idle (8th Gen 2010 Honda Civic) Please Help!!

Hello everyone, I hope you guys can help me with my 8th gen Honda Civic and it’s A/C issues, I have tried to recharge the system but it’s full, I also did a diagnostic test on the A/C climate control unit inside the vehicle and it blinked 4 times which means (An open or short in the mode control motor circuit), not sure what I should do about this but looking more into it. If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it as I don’t want to go to a mechanic and get screwed over someway. Thanks!

I have tried to recharge the system but it’s full,

How did you try to recharge the system? Did you evacuate the existing refrigerant and then load in the correct amount by weight? That's the only way to tell it's right.

Frequently if AC is not working well at idle it's because the cooling and/or condenser fans are not working. You did not say if you checked them. Also make sure there is no debris clogging the condenser.

The climate control problem might or might not be relevant to the problem. That module would probably need to be diagnosed with a high-level bidirectional scan tool.
