Hey Scotty, my wife drives a 05 Toyota Sienna and the lights on the dash that indicate gear position are out for Reverse and Drive. They flicker on randomly but mostly off. The doesn't allow the reverse lights to come on or the cruise control to work. I thought it was just a light outage but with the other symptoms, I think it's something with the transmission. Any ideas? Thanks.

Use scanner and read codes. A guess would be instrument cluster panel bad. Should be a stored code likely a C code so you'll need a scanner that reads more than just P codes.
