O7 avalanche has a weird idle. When my dad uses remote. Start it idles HIGH then low then very low idle then a high then normal for a few seconds. Without remote start it stays idling high when you leave it idling then it goes down. (I asked this question mutple times.)

If the idle gets normal after engine runs for sometime, I would not worry about it.
