My 2007 Lincoln Town Car transmission lunges forward with force when taking it out of park and seems to shift rough (no grinding, it's more of a lunging/surging/jolting when shifting too). There's no codes, it has about 200k miles on it, and when I bought it, it appeared to be hugely overfilled with trans fluid. It's the Executive L model with a trans cooler and 14 quarts capacity. I changed the transmission filter and drained the fluid (it had a fair bit of gunk), which seemed to help a little for a couple days. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

pry it not your transmission going out if it is I would get a remanufactured transmission put in
