I'm going to go see and possibly purchase a 1991 Lincoln Town Car. It has the 4.6 liter V8 and has had a lot of work done to it.
I'm a mechanics apprentice and I can do repairs on it myself if needed.
Is this a bad idea? Is there anything I should watch for?

They're pretty woman vehicles but it extremely old and it will probably need tons of work including electronic work as a fuel injection system breaks down don't pay much for an old one like that

If you can get it cheap then sure, they were excellent cars.
