08 G6 only 150k miles dash lights an gauges act spastic (off an on) as well as security light while driving or idleing. I did have to reprogram a master key after original was lost have reprogrammed it an does same. It acts an looks like everything is reseting every 5 seconds would reseting the ecm work?

pretty unlikely but it can't hurt to try. Just unhook the battery and hold the brake for 30 secs.
First check for a bad ignition switch. Jiggle it around and rotate back and forth a few times.
Otherwise you may have wiring issues in the dash. Bad ground point, damaged wires ... that sort of thing. Pull it apart and inspect.
If not then cluster went bad.
