My mother-in-law has a 2009 Honda CRV LX with 130,000 mi. She bought it a couple years ago with 75,000 miles on it. I swapped out the transmission fluid twice on it and it has been good for over 50k miles. Today she informed me that the D light on that transmission indicator was blinking green and she had a check engine light. She explained that she was driving when the light came on and that it was driving perfectly fine.
She hooked up a scan tool and got the code P0843, transmission fluid pressure sensor, switch "a" circuit high.
Since the vehicle is driving fine I was wondering would it be a good idea to try a transmission fluid swap again and wait to see if the code goes away. Or, would this code more than likely be a faulty fluid pressure sensor, or fluid pressure solenoid, or a blocked transmission line.
Thank you!
