09 impala transmission slipping

I have a 2009 Chevy Impala with 127,000 miles on it. It’s a 3.5 L V6 with 4 speed automatic transmission. when I start the car up and I put it in the drive or third gear it won’t move at all and the RPMs just go up, but when I put it in the first or second gear, it will take off, but if I’m on a hill, it will start to shutter and slip but once I’m cruising down highway speeds, I can shift from second into third and to drive and it will drive smoothly what could be wrong with my Impala? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! and also the transmission fluid is pink and it doesn’t smell burnt and I checked it at running temperature and it says it’s at the full mark where it’s supposed to be.

Impalas had weak transmissions.  Multiple parts inside just wear out quickly. It's the #1 complaint for that car. You could take it to transmission expert. But he'll tell you the transmission would have to be taken out and torn apart, and at that point it's more economical to just put another one in.  Mechanics, even transmission shops rarely work on transmissions. It's too costly.

Unfortunately, that probably means getting rid of the car for you , because it would cost more than it's worth.
