2012 Silverado 5.3L automatic slips out of gear but when revved it catches gear again. What can be the issue?

What can be the issue?
The issue can be that you need a new transmission.
More detail is needed. How many miles? Has the transmission been serviced regularly? Is the fluid level OK? What is the fluid's condition?
