Hi there, I got a 09 Infiniti qx56 and the suv just started idling rough and stalling about 2 weeks ago and once it did shut down while driving at low speed. I tried looking for a vacuum leak and I could not find 1.. next I was going to try cleaning my intake valve as I have you advising to do. Now I was wondering if that doesn't work what would be my next step as I do not have a check engin light on?
Clean the MAF sensor and replace the air filter. Also, check the ICV.
Ok. Thanks I will do that. I will try cleaning the MAF sensor, I did replace air also installed new spark plugs. I will post the results after cleaning it and checking the ICV
Check to make sure that the MAF sensor is working fine. You need live data for that.
Also check and clean your MAP sensor in the intake manifold. These get crudded up over time and can cause the problem you described.
Well I did clean the MAG and the ACV and it's still idling rough and going down lower than 7000 lrpm
