Hello All
I have a 09 Tacoma 4x4 SR5 4cyl with a manual transmission. I filled up my gas tank as usual but for some reason the gas is burning faster than usual. I can normally get about 260 - 280 miles out of a single tank before the gas light comes on. On this particular tank, I noticed the gas needle was almost dropping as I drove. I am down to a fifth of a tank with 175 miles. I will not reach the normal range for a single gas tank this go round. No changes have been done on my end so I dont understand whats going on to remedy the issue. Please help.

Hard one. Did u get gas from different gas station?
Do you smell gas leaking around the car ?
Did you out in the gas lid?
Gas mileage depends on a LOT of factors. The topography of the terrain you drive on.
Was it your usual route this time, when you noticed the drop? Check your tyre pressures, check your air filter - clean/replace if necessary.
Jack your vehicle up & check if any of the brakes are sticking.
A lead foot on an uphill drive will easily halve your gas mileage.
