- 2015 Nissan Pathfinder 3.5L V6 CVT (I know) 90k miles
Manual says 5w30 but shop keeps wanting to use 0w20. I prefer 5w30 (as per manual) … what say you?

Also check for a TSB or oil charts from Nissan for your specific model. Sometimes they retroactively recommend another oil weight alongside the one in the manual. When in doubt, use what it says in the manual.

Use what the manual says. The shop is just trying to sell you what they have.
