I have a 2014 Gx 460 premium with more than 330,000 kilometres, in middle east, purchased it from the first owner of the car that was meticulous with oil changes on time. He has used 0W20 or 5w30 time to time.

Following that I am only using 0W20 regularly, never exceeding 7,500 kilometres and there has been no problem with the car and oil remains clean and free from any metal shavings.

now many people are suggesting me to use 5W30 on regular basis as its a high mileage car, as per my own research, 5W30 isn’t suitable as oil weight can damage engine.

On 0W20 it runs like a clock as you normally say with good engines.

I need your suggestion on the oil, as its a hot environment throughout the year, should I continue using 0W20 or at least switch to 0W30 considering its high mileage and hot environment?

Please suggest, as my next oil change is about 3,000 kilometres away.
