I'm confused. Do you or don't you have a check emissions system message?
If you do then you need to run a diagnostic scan.

Cant figure it out.
What other diagnostic steps have you performed? More details are needed. Have you tried cleaning your throttle body and MAF sensor? How old are air and fuel filters? Fuel pressure OK? Have any parts that have been replaced OEM? Is there anything suspicious in live data?
