I'm looking to by a used truck for my landscaping business, I found an 02 dodge ram listed with only 26k miles online from a dealership. I know trucks are meant to be driven so if a truck has just been sitting for a long time that could cause problems. Do you think a truck this old with the milage so low was probably just sitting and what could that affect? What are things I should look for if I go check it out?

Anything made of rubber, suspension and steering bushings, check ball joints, tie rod ends, hoses, seals, lots more. Fabric degrades, carpet, upholstery, headliner, etc. I would absolutely suspect the entire fuel system, check all filters. Certainly check brakes ! Rear differential, trans fluids and levels, so much more.
I could spend an easy 3-4 hours just doing checks, then record everything found.
Cost to fix it will depend what you find, and how "fixed" you want it to be.
Maybe you found a good one, good luck with it.
I think you better off finding another truck.
