Ha scotty I have a 1982 chevy scottsdale k20 I just replaced the thermostat and thermostat housing on it and it still leaks coolant I was thinking about using a bars leak radiator stop leak in it but everyone says not to do you think I should or not using it

Check the mating surface of your thermostat housing. If there is erosion, warping, or cracking replace the housing.
did you replace the gasket?
Try using Permatex 22071 water pump and thermostat RTV silicone gasket. $5.59 on Amazon with a 5 star rating. Bar's stop leak is not the thing to use for that.
