Hello Scotty!
My daughter joined the Air Force last year and will be stationed in N Dakota in February.
Her 2009 Toyota Matrix has around 210,000 miles logged, routine maintenance completed every 5k miles, all recalls completed, tires are a year old.
What recommendations do you suggest to help keep it alive in the freezing temp of N Dakota? We live in the CA central valley. I’d rather she learn to drive in the snow in her older, no money owed vehicle.
Any advice would be welcome!

Well make sure you get good snow tires for it and have the antifreeze replaced and make sure it's strong enough to take that cold weather. And probably change the hoses and fan belts too cold cracks them
