Hey Scotty, I'm a bit of a dummy with the above listed, I'll spare you the details but long story short the head gaskets went so i replaced those, cleaned her up real good in the mean time, and I got it to start on the first go, but it almost sounds like a misfire but I'm not mechanically inclined enough to tell and everyone I ask has been giving me wildly varying diagnostics, I've spent far more than I'd like to admit at this point and I'm just too damn hard headed to give up, please help 😅

Check the simple stuff first like the distributor and ignition module are OK, firing order is OK, fuel filter not clogged, fuel pump OK, etc. Probably worth doing a compression check and leakdown test to get a sense of the overall health of the engine.
