I have a chevy c2500 from 2000 5.7 v8, from research it seems that they stopped being made around 98 except for some work trucks.
Mine so happens to be an old fleet truck, made in 99 of august. A chevy dealership told me its 1 of 3 trucks in the country... but offered 500 dollars for it
its in immaculate condition, from the south so rust is very minimal. It is as basic as can be but 500 dollars?
Looking over the truck it seems chevy just used whatever they had left ton make it.
long story short, what years would be compatible to pull parts from? i need seats and seatbelt mainly, has bench seat currently.
Obviously the dealer is trying to rip you off, giving you $500 and putting on the lot for $5000. (I don't know what parts will interchange but probably seats and belts from another truck of the same platform would work.)
