Hey Scotty! I have a 1985 Nissan 720 with a little over 200,000 miles. I bought it from a private seller in Nashville who told me it had been rebuilt and had 5000 miles on it. I’ve been driving it for a couple months no problem. Yesterday I took the air filter off the carb and discovered one of the bolts came loose and it was in the top of the carb. I put it where it went and it would idol but seemed like there wasn’t much fuel getting to the engine. I checked spark and It sparked but don’t know what else it could be. When I spray starter fluid in the carbon doesn’t do anything. What should I do now?

Well okay I like that first make sure the fuel pump is working right it should pump about two and a half pounds of pressure. If not that it might need to carburetor either rebuilt or replaced being that old
