So the both of my pop up head lights go up and the passenger light turns on but the driver side does not. I replaced both the headlight assembly for both but the driver side still doesn't light up, help!

do you have separate fuses or relays for each headlight? How do the socket and wiring look?
also, it could be related to the other problem you posted where your wire is getting hot.
