Hey scotty love your channel. I am thinking of buying a chrysler 1987 fifth avenue edition. The guy said we can jump start the car and drive it because battery doesnt charge and A/c doesnt work. What could be an issue here.
Well for starters car is hella old, alot of things come in play.
Battery and Ac are least of your problems right now.
That car used to be reliable but now where it stands endless money pit. No matter how much money you spend on it now it will keep showing problems like transmission failure and engine falling part.
For AC not working , five separate components need to work at 100 percent individually to produce cold air. In addition, there are support components like the condenser fan, interior blower motor, temperature doors and climate control systems that also have to be in top condition at the same timefor car to blow fresh air.
For car not to start these are the problems you will be facing
Bad spark plugs
Engine starter issues
Broken Damaged ignition
New filter needed
So if your buying this car as Project car to make into low rider or something it is gonna cost you a huge fortune
But if you buying it as daily driving don't....you will regret it
Don’t do it!
