My starter was grinding but my car had power. I replaced the starter and now I have no power at all. I checked the fuse`s and they look okay. Any suggestions of other reasons why I have no electricity in the vehicle at all, thanks Steve.

A short may have blown a fusible link.

Something is incorrectly connected, starting with the battery, connections to the starter, grounding cable, etc.
