hello names Shane,

I got this problem right after trying a new solenoid on my 2000 e-150 miles 89k, motor 4.6 v8 Waldock conversion. for a year or more I have been jumping the starter solenoid to start today I got a new one from O’Reillys an easy repair 2 bolts 3 connectors out it came in with the new one & poof no power anywhere no horn no headlights no blinkers no tail lights no brake lights no dash lights no key bell but figured bad new solenoid so put back old one and & & still NO POWER was working fine just before the install of new solenoid. So I figured I’d try to jump start it again through the solenoid it turned over so I turned on key it started right up battery @ 12.8v but this is now a thing too the starter solenoid has not disengaged so I hear a rattle from it not fully engaged but just enough to hear it. What does anybody think this could be?

Van can still run with no battery connection no power anywhere all fuses good switched around relays that had same part number still same.

To add, van has a power distribution system called sys 3000 panel right behind the driver seat on the wall all fuses are good under hood under dash & at the distribution system.
