Is there any reason why I shouldn't buy a super clean cheap 1989 Honda Accord, Automatic with 188k miles? Image of the engine bay, since I can't pintpoint what the engine is exactly. And I'm sure it'll help inform the discussion.

I only commute ~6 miles a day to work, and it's being sold for roughly 1,500. Anything in particular to look out for about these cars or this generation that I should know about?
Those were good cars. If it checks out I say go ahead and buy it.
Looks super clean. Nothing really in particular. It is a 89 so just keep that in mind. Just with age tends to be wear. Hopefully it was well maintained and this is not just a dealer wipe down to make it look pretty. If you don't know what you are looking at then I suggest taking it to a mechanic before you buy. It's always better to do an inspection prior to purchase. If the guy refuses the inspection for any reason that would give me a reason to say no deal.
Could be alright make sure to have a mechanic check it out and haggle on the price.
