So I got to try one and I like it! It was odd cuz the seller who made some modifications seemed a bit eager to sell it for $1600. It got stolen before and there's a cut through the wheel but it drove fine for an old car. The kid then added a kill switch as a response. Brakes seemed fine. Maybe when I changed from R to N a few times and N to D4 and back it jolted a tiny bit. He also said something about adding a VSS something regarding the transmission. Something about increasing horsepower and making it more fuel efficient. Salvaged only because of the theft, not an accident. But yeah, I'd definitely schedule a mechanic for an inspection though. Thoughts on reliability?

Hmm... A 31-year-old, 170K mile, modified car with a salvage title...
That's a ton of red flags; or better said all of the stuff you said is red flags. Don't even think about it.
