I have a 1991 cadillac eldorado 4.9 114,000 miles cranks but wont start n last time it turned on and it backfired from the carburetor n while engine caught on fire only hoses were affected so im replacing hoses and dnt know there location and how can i fix these 2 problems that i have

Well once I start on fire you never know what kind of damage occurs to the electronics you might need to rewire stuff and it could even have messed up computers on the vehicle. But get a diagram of all the vacuum hoses to see where they go I'm sure they all melted and then try my video fixing a car that cranks but doesn't start up Scotty
