1991 honda civic hatch back DX
Hey scotty im having this problem where my car will Start at morning or left alone for a long time but as soon as you turn it off and want to turn it back On, it will not start unless if lest alone for a minute or two or it will start sometimes when pressing the gas pedal my car is a 1991 Honda Civic Hatchback DX with 80 000ML , automatic if you could help me it will be much appreciated. 😀
You haven't provided much information to go on. That thing is so old the number of things that could be wrong with it are virtually endless.
The fact that it will sometimes start when pressing the gas pedal suggests the possibility of fuel injectors dribbling when the engine is turned off, making the mixture too rich. (Opening the throttle lets in more air which leans out the mixture.) Are your spark plugs wet with fuel or carbon fouled?
