Hello, I have 1992 Honda Civic DX 290,000 miles Automatic that was recently in an accident that hit on the passenger side front bumper destroying the passenger side headlight and turn signal light. As a result, the airbag deployed, and the SRS light is now glowing. The car is drivable with nothing under the hood being destroyed. I have another airbag assembly on the way (there is only one on this car on the steering wheel) and I was wanting to know if I need to replace any other components of the SRS system? I see from Honda Parts diagrams that there is an SRS unit assembly (78190-SR3-J01) behind the speedometer and there are 2 SRS dash sensor assemblies (06771-SM5-A81). Would any of those need to be replaced or is just the deployed airbag the only thing to have to typically replace on this car? Thank you!
Well you never know but Johnny they're sensors in the bumpers and they usually get destroyed in a wreck. But the only way you going to know is by replacing the airbag and then having a guy like me hook up as fancy scan tool to check out the SRS system
