Radiator has 8" hairline crack that leaks in plastic top of radiator. Crack is in the plastic near brackets, not where it meets the radiator fins. Tried JB Kwik-Weld, crack reappeared through epoxy next day and is leaking. Did I use the wrong product ? Is there a right one?

You can buy a new radiator for less than $100 all day long.Did I use the wrong product ? Is there a right one?
