2008 Corolla Long Crank

Hey Scotty! I recently bought a 2008 Corolla S last month with 171k miles and its running great so far.

Unfortunately the alternator went out  recently and since I still have my previous vehicle, I parked it at home for a few days so I can replace other parts while I was at it (sparkplugs, valve cover gasket, water pump, thermostat, serpentine belt, battery, starter, and the negative terminal wire which looked pretty worn)

(All parts are OEM from Toyota)

However, it still has a problem since I first test drove the vehicle, which is a long cranking time. It mostly does it when the engine is already warm, not cold. I checked the codes if it had any and it didn't, possible vacuum leaks, exhaust leaks, and I think I might narrowed it down to maybe the fuel pump:

What do you think?

Please let me know,

Thank you!

I think you're on to something. A failing fuel pump is a frequent cause of extended cranking. Get a gauge on there and measure the fuel pressure.

I'm with @imperator on this.. Check the fuel supply (pressure) Borrow a gauge from a local parts store if you need to. I had an older Toyota truck which cranked slow, especially when at operating temp. It was actually a nasty filter and a weak pump. I put in a new pump + filter because it's a pain to access. works fine now.
