2020 Toyota Corolla SE 2.0, 100,000 miles. I failed recently doing front brakes. I could not get rotors off. I pounded on them for 20-30 minutes and no luck. Used some WD-40 too, although I could probably have let WD-40 sit for more than 5 minutes. I live in Minnesota. Rotors were original and I gave up and took car to a shop. I’ve never failed at getting rotors off. Any advice for the future?

did you remove the retaining screw?
@imperator Hmmm! Thank you. I know what I did wrong now. Was not aware of retaining screw. My first Toyota. Never had that set-up on other cars brakes
@mark-snodgrass Sorry Mark, but I had to laugh at that one. Sounds like something I would do.
