My car is a 2008 1.6L corolla XLI with over 300k+ KM, recently the engine just died on the road and when i I checked with my scan tool is showing all 4 ignition coils code P0351,2,3,4, with battery and engine pressure lights on
took it to mechanic, he said the ECU was affected, he took it out, sent for repair and fixed it back but issue remains the same
Well I've never seen an ECU go bad on those,. I've also never seen all four coils go out at the same time. I would assume there's some type of wiring problem and if there is and he had the computer worked on the wiring short would still exist in the system. I would probably ruin the new ECU. If I were you, I'd start with a different mechanic. He doesn't seem to know what he's doing
