I'm looking at buying a 1994 mitsubishi 3000gt sl coupe. Just over 100k miles. He says it has a new clutch and he has the parts. Listed for $1000 what do you think? What should I check on it since I can't take it to a garage as is.

Don't expect a 27yr old car to do daily duty. But at $1K, if it's in decent shape and you can bring someone to check it out mechanically could be a nice project/weekend car.

I suggest you bring along a mechanic with you as there may be too many things wrong with a 27yr old Mitsubishi.
With that said, $1000 isn’t much for a car these days & if a mechanic checks it all out at the location, go right ahead if you want a fun weekend toy.
