My car is a 1994 nissan 300zx with about 230,000 miles. She runs like a dream however ive come across an issue where a 30amp fuse will blow whenever I fully turn the key and then push the clutch in. Only when I actually attempt to start the car will it blow. The fuse is labled IGN and is along the other fusible links. The fuse completes the ignition process so without it, the ecu will not turn on and basically the car is a potato at that point. Ive seen it burn the fuses, spark it, and now its just instantly breaking them them, please help. Car has no ecu errors.
Please do not triple post, and allow the original post to work its way through the system, despite being slow at times. Thank you.
That fuse probably feeds several circuits. I would obtain an electrical schematic and start isolating from there.
Probably a short in the clutch interlock switch on your clutch pedal or just a bad switch.
