My relative's 1994 Buick Park Avenue (Base: 3800 series) 3.8L V6 with 127,000 miles, automatic, and no OBDII codes is leaking antifreeze from the Throttle Body. This model is not the Ultra edition and it does not have the Supercharger. We purchased a new Throttle Body gasket and I successfully removed the three Throttle Body nuts. However, I noticed there are two more on a mounting bracket underneath it but the exhaust is preventing me from accessing this area with a wrench and socket. Is there a way to remove the Throttle Body without having to disconnect exhaust components? Thank you for your time.
You don't have to take them off to replace the gasket.
Just the 3 nuts you already removed. It will "stick"
so just work it back and forth as you pull on it
