Hey Mr.Scotty,
I recently got word that i will be hopefully receiving my dad's 1994 V6 Camaro. I wanted to know how i can make it run like new and give it a performance boost with keeping the engine.
-Thank You
I don't know how many miles you have on it, but if you want to get the most life out of it then maintenance is absolutely key. I would forget all about performance as unless you are going to do an engine swap to a V8 there's not really any power to make. The V6 was designed as a nice little cruiser engine. If you want real power, you'll need an LS1 swap...and that would be a headache on a '94 car that is still running OBD-I diagnostics.
My advice is to check and change all the fluids as necessary, check and change the spark plugs as needed, filters, etc. and keep it in the best condition possible. Basically enjoy it as it is until it won't go any further. Those V6 motors could go a while, but I will tell you if you are beating on it then the lifespan shortens significantly.

Please do not double post. Thank you. Also, adding our performance mod expert @Mod_Man to help you
Thanks @DayWalker
Hey Mod_Man I have a 1994 Camaro that is a V6 but I don't want to get rid of it because it has sentimental value. So how can i increase its horse power without blowing it up.
Wasn’t this question already answered by @mod_man earlier?
@InThrustWeTrust I was getting a distinct feeling of deja vu. Lol. I see my answer is still here in this thread, so at least I know I'm not crazy. {black}
That’s exactly how I felt.. Thought it was the beer..
