hey Scott my buddy has a 1994 Volvo 850 2.4L and he ask me to do the alternator for him but I can't find any think about the best way to do it
Quick little note, auto parts stores should be able to print out a belt routing diagram for you. I know auto zone does it (I work at one)

- disconnect battery
- remove everything blocking access to alternator
- remove belt
- remove wire
- remove bolts
- remove alternator
your friend should pick up one of these
