Hello Scotty,
My 1997 Ford F150 V8 4x4 wont stay running/idling when I disconnect the jumper cambles from the trucks battery. It dies almost instantly some times takes a minute or 2. I had the alternator tested they said it was good. I got my battery tested they said it was good also. i got a new battery just in case. I tried it still have the issue. What could be the problem?

Check the main grounding cables from the battery and from the engine to the body for looseness and corrosion.
