1999 V6 Camry vs 2007 Camry I4

Hi,

I'm trying to make a decision of which car I should get rid of, going to be moving and I don't want to take all of them.

My final 2 have come down to these:

1999 Camry V6 Manual, 195k miles, no problems.

2007 Camry I4 Manual, 169k miles, burns 1 quart of oil every 1k miles.

I know the V6 camry is older, but it doesn't burn oil. It's a tradeoff I'm not sure what to make the decision of.

Any advice?

See below:  I would sell the 2007 Camry, and keep the 1999 one.

I know that you don't want to but I would keep both. Manual transmission Camrys were rarer than hens teeth. Therefore you have two of the rarest cars. Plus having a second car as a backup car really comes in handy.

Sell the 2007 and keep the other one.  Car manufacturers started putting all kinds of electronic junk in their vehicles starting around the end of 2005 which have caused nothing but problems.  The 1999 vehicle, especially with the manual trans is the keeper in my opinion.  It's easy to repair and will last forever if you take care of it.
