Dear Scotty my name is Ethan. I have a 1995 F150 it has a 300 inline engine with the mr2 manual transmission 4 speed with overdrive it has 207000 miles on it.
It's a great daily drive but I have noticed that every once in a while when i go to shift i press the clutch in (new clutch, slave cylinder, pilot bearing, and release bearing) that the engine revs up I have replaced every sensor on the truck its not burning any oil small oil leak from drain plug but that's where it needs a new washer it leaks less then 1/2 a quart out every 3000-4000 miles. any thoughts on what could cause it. im baffled by it because it only does it once in a blue moon.
Well when you push the clutch in the engine is freewheeling and if it's revving up that generally means there's something wrong with the throttle control. So you might lubricate the throttle cable if it is a cable and clean the throttle is in my video make your car run better with a little spray cleaner
