I have a 1995 geo prism and i drove it to midad to get a small squeal fix which they told me it was the wheel hub assembly on driver side then 10 min later they came told me my cv axle was bad so they chang3d that offering me free labor i just had tonpay for the part well when i drove it off their lot paid 400.00 my car didnt want to shift into 3rd gear i have an automatic transmission i heard 2 employees say they messed up my car i been dealing with them for 3 weeks and they still deny they fact they broke well i was told my differential was broke after 5 different mechaniacs later told me. my problem is when i put it in drive gear it clunks/grinds i can only put it in reverse neutral and park i can only drive in reverse plz help me i watch u and learn alot from ur videos. Never, ever go to chain stores for mechanical work! Midas has a particularly bad reputation and I'm sorry (certainly we're all sorry) to hear that they ripped you off that way. (CV axles for ordinary cars don't cost $400!) It's disgusting. Do you have a local TV station that has one of those troubleshooter type news segments where they expose ripoff operations like that? Local news showing up on their doorstep and shoving cameras in their faces might get a reaction.
