I have a 1995 Honda Accord V6 with automatic transmission and 120K miles. I don't think the transmission fluid has ever been changed. There IS a dipstick and it checks out as having the right amount of fluid, which appears light pink and only slightly brownish, and clean.
The question is: Should I have the transmission oil and filter changed at this point with 120K miles on it, or leave it alone for the rest of the life of the car, considering the mileage?
I would, but save the old fluid in a clean container, just in case.
Also, use only the Honda OEM transmission fluid if you decide to change it.

If it were my car I would change the fluid and filter now. Then I can keep track of it for maintenance purposes from that point.
