Hello Scotty and hello Scotty community, my 95 Toyota Celica 5sfe has 277,808 miles and the airbag light stays on. I got code 31 by jumping Tc and E1. I also smell rubber burning when I have the car running. I’m having trouble looking for what the code could be. I’ve looked into the Haynes manual and nothing on airbag codes. Would anyone know what that code could be?
I’ve recently found that it could be the center airbag sensor assembly from this website http://bgbonline.celicatech.com/94_6gmanual/air%20bag%20restraint%20system.pdf could that be the issue?

It could be the issue. I would check the other sensors as well and the fuses and relays.
