Hello Scotty!
I have a 1997 Buick leSabre custom that’s been in the family since new, the transmission was replaced 60K miles ago with a rebuilt unit. Recently the fluid level has been getting low and causing the transmission to slip around left turns. I would refill and the car would drive fine. A few days ago all the fluid leaked completely out. When I try to refill the fluid it dumps straight out on the ground though the car will still move when fluid is present. Any ideas? 245k miles dealer maintained.
I have a similar problem, I own a 1996 Buick Park Avenue with over 200k miles on it, but my transmission does not leak, its over filled but still slips on left hand turns. Previous owner did not specify if it was rebuilt.
I would go back to the place that rebuilt it. Where is the fluid coming out of?
