Hello, I have a 1997 Camry 4 cylinder that is experiencing an intermittent stalling issue. It usually happens while stopped or any time the gas pedal is released. There’s no pattern to it and the car otherwise drives fine and has power though sometimes it takes a little bit to start when the engine is cold. Whenever there's an episode, the car will usually start right back up and will stay on. Resources online like YouTube and Reddit suggest a fault with the idle air control valve. Have you encountered this issue with 97-01 Camry 4 cylinders or do you have any videos on this?
Thanks!
Have you scanned for codes and live data? Checked the simple things like air and fuel filters, and spark plugs? Did you try cleaning your throttle body and MAF sensor? Did you check AIC valve hose connections and operation?
