Hey Scotty I have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee It runs ok and everything but it starts shaking madly during certain periods while driving it seems mostly when going over bumps we had a mechanic look at it and they said they think its the track bar I wanted to know if they were correct or not also keep up the amazing work I love your vids!
"Death wobble" is a common problem on solid-axle Jeeps and the track bar is a prime suspect, however any worn parts in the front end can cause that problem. (Replacing the track bar fixed it on my old Jeep.)
Thank You that means a lot! Ill let them know then its most likely the track bar
Just remember though that any worn front end parts (tie rod ends, idler arm, pitman arm, control arm bushings) can also contribute to death wobble. Have all that stuff checked out as well.
